Avarte Group Oy online shop sells products to adult private individuals in Finland and inside the EU. The product prices include 24% value-added tax. We reserve the right to change the prices, delivery costs and terms of delivery. On registering at the customer accepts the current terms and conditions and commits to abiding by them.


The customer him/herself is responsible for ensuring that the details he/she provides during the process of placing an order are true, correct and up-to-date. The customer is liable to update all changes in his/her details on his/her account at Avarte Group. Avarte Group Oy cannot be held accountable in the event that, due to incorrect details provided by the customer, the customer does not receive the ordered goods, order or delivery confirmations, or other documents or monetary refunds.


We record our customers’ order details. For security reasons, however, they cannot be viewed directly by the customer, but we provide each customer a password-protected account. Having logged in to his/her account the customer has the option to view his/her past, open and completed orders and change his/her address and payment details as well as details concerning the possible subscription of a newsletter.


Avarte Group Oy cannon be held accountable or liable to compensation for orders placed using incorrect personal identity details, through another customer’s account or otherwise insincerely.


The selling price of a product is determined based on the price quoted at the time of ordering. The prices quoted are gross prices, in other words, they include value-added tax as mandated by Finnish law and other statutory extra costs. In the event of an obvious pricing error, that is, where the customer should understand the price quoted to be incorrect, within the bounds defined in the consumer protection act, we reserve the right not to sell the product at the incorrectly quoted price.


Despite our continuous efforts to express ourselves in a manner, which is as correct as possible and devoid of errors, the contents of our website may contain spelling mistakes and ambiguity in expressions used, prices quoted or product availability. We reserve the right to correct errors and ambiguities and to change or update the contents. The price or your order is checked as part of our verification process. If you have ordered a product quoted with an incorrect price, we have the right to cancel your order, and in such an eventuality, we will notify you.

We comply with existing data protection policies and take appropriate technical measures to maintain data protection in our online shop. Customers can themselves, should they so choose, disable cookies by changing their browser settings.



Ordering products


The website is open 24/7, and purchases can be made at all times. However, the shop may be closed during maintenance. Purchases can be made only when the shop is open and in operation. The availability of products for ordering is determined by the shop’s stock balance at the time of placing the order. Due to photography technical reasons the product images or colours displayed may differ from the actual product.


Products are selected for ordering by adding them to the shopping cart. The order is sent by making a payment for the content of the shopping cart at the checkout. All customer details are processed in confidence. When placing an order you approve these terms of delivery, product prices and delivery costs. If an email address is provided at the time of ordering, a confirmation email will be sent. The confirmation email will show the products ordered and the price. The contact details enquired during the process of placing the order are only used for the purposes of delivering the goods or in order to resolve possible ambiguities in the order.


The contact details enquired during the ordering process are all mandatory, and providing them is required in order to place an order. Mandatory details include, for example: name, address, telephone number and email address.


The customer guarantees that the details provided by the customer are correct and true. The customer is liable to compensate any damage or harm caused by  incorrect details.


The customer is commited to receiving the invoices, order and delivery confirmations and other documents exclusively in an electrical format.



Making a payment


Online payments are facilitated by Maksukaista (Paybyway Oy, 2486559-4) in cooperation with banks and credit institutions. Maksukaista is registered in the List of Supervised Entities maintained by the Financial Supervisory Authority in Finland (Finanssivalvonta). All transfer of information and payment transactions are SSL-protected, and nobody is able to view your details. Customers are forwarded to Maksukaista’s website and Maksukaista / Paybyway Oy is shown as the recipient of the payment on the bank statement and the invoice. Maksukaista forwards the payments to the online merchant.


The sales contract is formed between the customer and the online shop. The online shop is responsible for all obligations pertaining to the shop.



Payment methods


With Maksukaista you can pay your order by an internet banking account, a payment card (credit/debit), an invoice or a partial payment. The following methods of payment are supported: Osuuspankki, Nordea, Danske Bank, Säästöpankki, Oma Säästöpankki, Aktia, Paikallisosuuspankit, S-Pankki, Handelsbanken, Visa-, Visa Debit-, Visa Electron-, MasterCard- and Debit MasterCard payment cards, Jousto, Everyday and Euroloan.


PayPal is an international payment method that enables secure facilitation of payments such that your details will stay safe. You can familiarise yourself with PayPal’s terms and conditions here. PayPal also facilitates credit card payments.


It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the charge card, bank account or any other tender used by the customer is the property of the customer and that he/she is fully entitled to use it. The charge card or bank account must have sufficient funds for paying the total sum. We reserve the right to check the customer’s credit-worthiness and payment details prior to shipping the ordered goods. Avarte Group Oy is not obligated to provide every possible payment method.


If the order is paid with a credit card, a cover reservation is made on the credit card account at the time of ordering. The account is finally charged after the order has been processed and the goods are prepared for shipment.


Avarte Group Oy approves bank transfers from bank accounts inside the EU only. Avarte Group Oy will not reimburse the customer’s processing fees charged by banks or credit institutions.

Shipment methods and costs


When placing the order the customer can select between home delivery or pick-up at Avarte Group pick-up point in Varisto, Martinkyläntie 47, Vantaa. If the customer selects home delivery or pick-up at our warehouse, he/she will be informed by text message when the shipped product is available for pick-up.


If the customer selects home delivery, the carrier will contact the customer by phone to inform the customer about the exact time of delivery. The delivery truck must have unhindered access to the vicinity of the building in order to deliver the goods to the address.

Domestic Delivery: 49 €

International Delivery (inside EU): 79 €


Ordered goods are shipped on working days. Goods shipped form the warehouse normally ship to the customer within 3-5 working days.


The customer must provide a correct delivery address. If the address provided by the customer cannot be verified, reserves the right to cancel the order.


The shipping costs are determined based on the shipping method, the possible additional services and the weight and size of the shipment. You are able to view the shipping costs at the checkout of the online shop before you confirm your order.


If the goods are damaged or go missing in shipping, the customer must notify the online shop without delay, but within 14 days at the very latest. The carrier responsible for delivery must be notified of goods damaged in shipping. 


Avarte Group Oy cannot be held accountable in the event the shipment is delayed due to unexpected circumstances independent of the merchant, such as war, natural disasters or embargos imposed by the authorities. Deviations from shipment schedules are posted on the homepage of the online shop.

Returns policy and right of exchange


Our online shop customers have a 14-day right of exchange and return policy governed by the consumer protection act. The customer is entitled to change or return the ordered goods. The right of return only applies to goods returned in original packaging that are unused and in re-saleable condition.

Should you wish to return or change the goods, kindly first contact our online shop for instructions. When returning goods, please inlude your name, your contact details and your account number for possible refund.


If the customer changes his/her mind with respect to the purchase the goods must be returned using the same carrier that delivered the goods (Hirvonen/Posti).


If the customer returns a product, he/she needs to ensure that they are properly packaged. The customer is responsible for the packaging / goods until we receive them. Kindly retain your receipt of delivery and tracking number (if applicable).


The customer will pay all fees arising from returning purchased goods. We expect our customers to return the goods as soon as possible after having sent the notification of cancellation, within 14 days as a maximum.

Cancelling an order, liability for defects and claims


Prior to delivery date the order can be cancelled by sending a written notification via email. may cancel an order, if the ordered product is not possible to deliver. The customer will be notified of the situation, and the possibly already made payments or cover reservations are reimbursed or cancelled. Reimbursements are always paid using the payment method selected for the original purchase.


The online shop is by law liable for defects in sold products. In case of a product claim we ask you to contact our customer service. Consumers have the right to request potential disputes to be decided at the Consumer Disputes Board.


Your purchase is governed by the Finnish consumer protection act. This also applies to defects. This means that a defective product can be repaired or replaced with a new product and the customer may be reimbursed or given a discount depending on the circumstances. The claim must be justifiable, of course, and the defect must not be born out of erroneous usage or other erroneous actions.


These terms and conditions and your purchases made on this website are governed by Finnish law.
